At 12 years old I picked up my first professional camera; a Pentax K1000 fully manual film camera, and never looked back.
I graduated in 2004 from the College of Santa Fe, a LaSallian College. In 2005, started my own photography business, specializing in weddings.
My experience as a photojournalist/documentary photographer for the Santa Fe New Mexican from 1995-2000 influenced my style to evolve into a lifestyle photographer, loving the environmental portrait and the use of natural lighting.
My influence from a fine art college and love for fashion inspires my studio lighting work.
In my time as a photographer, I have received numerous images in publications, on the cover of publications and awards, but they are not as valuable to be as the smile on my clients faces when they see the photographs from their wedding or portrait session, or seeing my fine art on their wall.
Why do I like to photograph weddings and people? I love people, I love - love. I love the moments, the happy the sad and the ones that make us feel alive.
The current fine art series I am working on is the "Glitter Death Series," and "The Doll Series."
